¡Hola y Bien Venidos!
Este es el lugar de los vaqueros oeste.
Howdy and welcome. This website is dedicated to the preservation of a particular form of horsemanship that came to the Americas from Spain and Portugal and evolved to become known as the Californio style of horsemanship. You can choose from the links below to go to the Sage Saddlery portion of the site and see our fine quality saddles and gear or to learn more about the Californio style. Thanks for coming in and hope you enjoy your visit. ¡Hasta luego!
Sage Saddlery - Old age is creeping up (became a grandpa on Dec 20, 2011 but I am only just inside of getting the senior discount at Denny's) and I find I am in need of a second carpal tunnel surgery (left hand this time). So the store site will be down until I recuperate. None of the online store links will work until this spring. You are sure enough welcome to peruse my past creations and if it is about a custom saddle please feel free to email me and we'll palaver about it.Thanks to all past customers and if you are visting the site for the first time please come on back along about April, 2012.
Sage Horsemanship - Learn about the Californio style of horsemanship, ranch roping, good farriery and much, much more.
Upcoming events - Check here for upcoming events for Sage Saddlery and Sage Horsemanship (like the "Beginning Ranch Roping Clinic" or the "Intermediate Ranch Roping Clinic" which are both going to take place this summer at Horizon View Farms near Somerset, PA.
